Ordered the perch dinner with yams and greens. The fish was perfectly seasoned and fried! The sides were delicious. Also came with a cornbread muffin that was moist and tender. We also ordered the rib tips with a side of dressing. The tips were falling off the bone tender and the dressing was phenomenal! The service was impeccable and very quick. Will be back to order again soon!

If you want the best, fresh (you can see the live fish in a tank, and observe the filleting) grilled catfish (fillet) you’ll have to ask for it. But you will be rewarded with the most tender catfish you’ve ever had. The seasoning was perfect and it comes with a container of hot sauce if you want some heat. The yams were delicious and the greens (collard) had a hambone to enhance the flavor. Authentic soul/seafood at its finest right there in Rockford, IL.

Great Soul food here!!! I love the Catfish nuggets and the frog legs!! Wifey likes their tips and the greens are fire 🔥🔥🔥 with the smoked turkey!!
